Kelsey Foster

Kelsey is a licensed social worker providing counseling services with a focus on children and adolescents. Having graduated from UIC, Kelsey has experience with many different therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma work, exposure therapy, and behavioral management, and she has worked with a diverse population of clients, including those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and autism. She takes a client-focused, eclectic approach by drawing from different therapeutic modalities to individualize treatment. Her journey as a therapist was influenced by her own experiences with mental health and trauma, and inspires her to provide others with the support and resources to grow and learn. Outside of her work as a therapist, Kelsey enjoys creative writing, painting, and exploring the city.
