NiKisha Burks

Nikisha doubled majored and has a bachelor's degree in both biology and psychology with a minor in chemistry. She also have a master's degree in clinical psychology where she was able to obtain two specializations in both counseling and applied research.  NiKisha likes to consider herself as an eclectic therapist with clinical interest including trauma informed care, CBT, DBT, play therapy, person-client centered therapy, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. In addition to working with children and youth, NiKisha also works with clients struggling with addition and am a certified addiction and drug counselor.
