Shannon Harris

Shannon (she/her) received her B.S. in Human Development and Family Science and M.S. in Applied Human Services from Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Throughout her work in mental health case management and care coordination, Shannon has become interested in understanding how our relationships, identities, and lived experiences influence the ways we move through the world.Shannon's clinical interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, attachment theory, and Queer Theory. As a Clinical Intern on the Adults Team, she is excited to co-create safe and inclusive environments where individuals can explore their experiences, connect with their values, and work toward creating lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.
