Sharon Grainer, LSW

I bring warmth, empathy, and a grounded sense of humor to every therapeutic relationship, informed by my Canadian roots and international experience. I believe healing happens in a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly understood, not judged. I draw on an integrative approach that often incorporates creativity and playfulness.

I received my MSW from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, with additional clinical training shaped by years as a chaplain in trauma and oncology settings and as pulpit clergy.

As a breast cancer survivor and longtime LGBTQIA+ ally, I understand firsthand the courage it takes to heal. Life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate them more intentionally and authentically.

In my spare time, I row with a team of other women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently taking guitar lessons.
