Tyler Alvarez, MSW, LCSW, CCM, CCTP (he/him)

Tyler received his Master of Social Work from The University of Texas school system. He currently serves as the Manager of Access and Case Management Services at Thrive Counseling Center⁠, where he focuses on improving access to behavioral health services and supporting clients in navigating systems of care. 

Tyler brings experience across non-profit, hospital (emergency care, rehabilitation & cardiovascular services), managed care organizations, addiction and community mental health settings. His professional background includes program development, system design, utilization review, case management leadership, and developing workflows that improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes. He is especially passionate about reducing barriers to care and helping individuals access the support they need during vulnerable moments. Having personally experienced the life-changing impact of accessible support systems, Tyler brings both professional expertise and personal understanding of his work. 

Tyler believes compassionate care begins with meeting people where they are and creating systems that are both human-centered and effective. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, gardening, technology, going to the movies, and spending time with his husband and animals.
